Journalism Task 1b

My Article – proposal

Grime is a genre that over the years has become more popular. Artists such as J Hus from east London have become a great sensation. In my article I want to talk about his journey to the top and other artists that are also from east London on their way to fame. In addition to this YouTube has become a world – wide generated website to support the movement of these artists, YouTube has helped people become worldwide superstars and even young entrepreneurs it has also paved the way for media niches that don’t have enough income to go on mainstream television, and has helped them create their own platforms for example in the UK there are media niches such as SBTV, Link up Tv and GRM Daily.

However, GRM Daily are an east London media niche who are vastly popular in today’s society as it holds a new home to grime Mc’s such as j hus, kept and konan and kojo funds. In addition to this I will be talking about how GRM Daily has grown to what it has become today and how people have a huge impact in today’s society by going on the channel.

the Platform I will be distributing this article is on a e-zine because I don’t have enough money to invest in something better and I also want my young audience to find it easy to read and easily more accessible like the metro my article are targeted to both genders I want to split the pages so that my target audience get a good understanding of what I am talking about.

The Length of This article has 10 pages (2 page spread with 8 individual pages) throughout the Magazine. It is one of the featured articles in the magazine. It has 9 interviewees divided out to 2 interviewers.

The images I’m going be using are primary images that I will be taking myself I have chosen to take picture myself as it saves me a lot of money and makes my article different and unique as my research has been done myself which changes the aspect of my article.

The Interactive elements are that it will be easily accessible and portable as it going to bed advertised on snapchat which is good as it going to be advertised for 24hrs in addition my target audience are young and love Technology and use a lot phone services devices such as snap chat will help me build a strong fan base and more viewers to see my article which will increase the pricing of my article for me to make more profit and income.

 Locations

  • Where do you need to go?  I’m just going go outside my local college as there are a lots of young student who are interested in e – zines and love using phone devices such as snapchat and that’s where I can take pictures of them using their phone browsing on my magazine and my article through the social media of platform snapchat which cost me a lot.
