Script Pre Production

Script -
hello there we are joined here today with our special guest posty who is ceo of grm daily and today we will be talking the rivalry between the media niche of grm daily and link up TV over copyright feeds and both niches have been taking It out on the social media feeds by sending sly shots getting all grime fans active on the socials so I’m here to clear it all up as we both love these niches
So posty ?
Interviewer: What is the rivalry between you and link tv with the copyright industry?
Posty: we done not really have a rivalry is just that they have taken a few things that is not theirs for example the music video of j hus did you see was originally our own production that link up tv took from us and try claim its there’s on social media which got me and my team really angry so we shot back at them and now people have claimed it’s a rivalry which I don’t know about but all im saying is do not take what not yours
Interviewer : do you think that you can clear up this copyright beef and speculation ?
Posty : yeah I think we can but it will take time for link up to come to a menses  with us as we both have the same about of subscribers and can be busy from time to time  we can even link up to even stop this copyright invasion because right the socials is going crazy right now and it is giving us both  a bad name so yeah will stop this I believe because we are all good at what we do so we will be both humble about I believe
Interviewer: thanks for joining me posty on clearing up this trendy rivalry feud between the niches because we didn’t even know a thing now that we know the grime fans don’t have to worry how the video are being distributed

Equipment -
Headphones, microphone
  • (Mics, editing equipment, headphones etc.) I will get a boom mic from tom and I will rent it out for a short period of time

Recording schedule
Friday 23rd June 2017 -I am hoping to record the whole script. my main achievement is to record this at least 7 times so I can choose which one is the best this will only make my interview much more fair and better for me and my pre production to avoid stuttering and foul noises in the background.
sound checks
 -
First I will have to check the microphone and see if it working in perfect condition if not then I will need a new one, secondly the room being used has to be a small compacted room that is sound proof so we can hear no echo's or unwanted noise

Health and Safety
a  massive health and safety would be wires and cables that are lying in room, this could cause someone to trip over it and fall this could cause a breakage of equipment or injury to themselves. the equipment being used is really expensive and some sensitise so to use this ill have to be careful.

Serial Podcast

Serial season 1 episode 1
Music
The meaning of this is to present the podcast while setting the mood.
The mood that is trying to be set is a soft mood. This is so that the spectators are unruffled and organized to listen to the rest of the podcast.
It is tenderly in the background to improve body to the podcast although it isn’t supposed to take the listeners attention from what the speaker in the podcast is saying. The Music also changes the tune and sounds a bit more depressing as at this point, the story has been built up and is supposed to have an effect on the listeners.
this is to create meaning and so that the viewer’s feel as if thought they are experiencing it also adding in the music makes her story sound more interesting and more enjoyable to listen in addition to this she is very linsgutic with how she speaks about romance as she can talk slowly and adapt very quick when it comes to a suspicion l scene
Dialogue
The dialogue is the main part and the most imperative part of the podcast as the audience .Most of the podcast consists of dialogue. As we listen to this we are supposed to be informed about the day leading up to the event and all the facts that have already been established about the events that had taken place.
Phone in
These being used makes the audience feel as if they are part of the phone call and keeps them engaged as an audience. using phone ins gives the audience exclusive information and makes them feel like they are getting the information first hand they phone calls are meant to make feel encaged and like we are they to imagine what going on
Aural sounds
The podcast uses the same theme tune throughout the whole podcast which is repeated at different aspects of it. This is to build the brand/identity.
Interviews
Listening in makes the audience feel like they are part of this interview which also engages them into the podcast leading them to keep listening.

The digital published products has helped me understand what I needed to finish it also helped me improve a few things on InDesign and word such as including images and font sizes I have used word because I didn’t know how to make an interactive article on InDesign and because of time management I decide to make it extra better on word by adding an extra video which was well edited by me and brings a different contrast.

the font size was something I made really clear and bold on my second article this because on the brief it says that you should use clear analysis on your poster which I have mastered and followed, in my first article I have used a bright colour of grey and white this was done so I can contrast the main images face and it can translate well when reading.

I carried out on digitally published products was very useful as it gave me an idea on the different ways I could structure my articles and what techniques I could use to make it a success.
It helped me mostly with the layout and the margins when using InDesign I likewise remained able to understand how the language would change according to the purpose and target audience of the articles, showing me that I would need to change my language also with approach of address.
When pitching my idea it wasn’t really easy as I expect because I knew what I wanted to talk about a few things that I couldn’t say in my article and I didn't identify what to talk about which hindered me a bit I wrote up my first article really well as I submitted it in on turntin and received a good feedback with the percentage of 11%, I received feedback that helped me structure my article better than I was able to in the beginning.

I was writing really formally which was something that I recognized and I had to write informally to inform my target audience about grime which I done, for my articles I have used mainly my primary resources which were many images that I have taken from a video shoot that  I went to this has made my work  more easier and efficient which means  it will get more marks.

I addition to this in my second article I have made it really interactive this is because I have used a video that I edited really well about an artists behind the scene for my snapchat article this will only bring my mark up and I know that not many people have put the effort in to do this, I have that now because it’s going to increase the popularity of my second interactive article and will have a strong fan base.

I struggled to change the language as I thought I was talking to suit the audiences. I knew what language feature I wanted to use and what to include in my articles from looking at other ones. I used a drop cap in my articles for the awareness of the target audience to see.

I deliberate my pre-production remained done well and I achieved my time wisely. I organized everything according to my call sheet.

My article I needed a model because I was talking about an music artist and I went on to take a photo of one which illustrated well for my articles. Whilst using In-design, I was able to import the images and change the layout, size and orientation of these images. I also flipped the image so it would be on the opposite side this because in my pitching I wanted a double page spread and in my textual analysis I done the same thing so I made sure I done it in my design for my first article.

I kept my printed material identical fine as I would write it up in the notes page on my computer then I imported onto my work

Tion Wayne Ft Afro B - Bae (Evaluation)

Tion Wayne Ft Afro B - Bae Evaluation

The aim of our music video was to entertain the audience by recreating a story behind the lyrics of the song 'Tion Wayne Ft Afro B - Bae '. The target is audience is mainly aimed at young teenage boys who aspire to live the luxurious lifestyle like Tion Wayne and Afro B, however it is also aimed at young teenage girls as the song symbolises love and what a girl deserves when being in a relationship with a guy which makes them happy, when watching this music video the audience were supposed to watch how both artists love and appreciate their girlfriends by having an insight on their lifestyle.
I think we achieved the aim of our video as we had many shots of both couples where the artists were showing affection to their girlfriends our transitions and effects really makes our video something worth watching as our artist show their affection.
Our original idea was to show both couples at various locations living their life such as restaurants and at theme parks or funfairs although, we didn't have a lot of time to do so, so we chose one location in which we would change the scenes. ( Canary Wharf).
We had many strengths as well as weaknesses. Our strengths as a group are that we were very organised when it came to doing our pre - production as we divided them equally and did the task for the deadline so we could have more time to film. we were able to agree on what we wanted the outcome of our video to be. We also agreed on which characters to use that suited our video. The most important thing about our group was that when we were shooting we were able go improvise scenes when we weren't sure what else to add in, which gave us a range of different scenes to put together to create our video.
Whilst editing, we were able to quickly establish which scenes should go where as we had shots that we of the location around us to give the audience to establish the setting to the audience. We all got the chance to edit and input our ideas into how the video should look. We made it easier by firstly adding the track so that we could place the visuals onto it where it fits so it could make sense.
our audience feedback was very good. the audience liked how the visuals related to the lyrics and they also liked the choice of location. things we could improve on were to use less transitions as we included too much and to include a fair amount of lip syncing.

Radio 1 Breakfast show (Mista Jam)

Analysis of podcast

In this breakfast show we see that the show is aimed at a young target audience from the age of 12 – 24 this is evident as in the beginning of the show it starts off with loud fun music and sound effects which generates a vibe for the audience, this gives them a good morning feel before they go to work or school, we know that this radio show isn’t aimed at older people because the music is way different to what they would usually listen to and  the loud noises is something that they are not accustomed to in there generation.

The music builds a different vibe for the target audience it gets them to think about what’s coming it builds tension and gets them in a good mood, in addition to this you're likely to hear a jingle announcing the name of that station  explaining the latest promotional contest or whatever is going in the urban world.

Voiceovers also include promotional messages, commercials, jingles and radio show introductions we seem to hear a lot of that in the beginning of the radio show within the first 30 second of the show this has been done to inform the target audience of what to expect during the show, the announcements are done when the host is playing music this is done for us the target audience to understand and capture the information that is being told, the interviews are really slow and direct in a short time space this is done because radio doesn’t have the longest duration in the morning and people who are listening want to hear the person really quick and direct furthermore, radio hosts worldwide have a constant need for interesting guests this because they want us to hear and enjoy what they are saying like we were with them.
News reports also have jingle theme to it because it creates an image and makes the show more professional and efficient, this only attracts more people to listen to their news this builds a strong fan base for others who don’t know about that news can be reported on the news.

Tripod :

In photography, a tripod is used to stabilize and elevate a camera, a flash unit, or other photographic equipment. All photographic tripods have three legs and a mounting head to couple with a camera. The mounting head usually includes a thumbscrew that mates to a female threaded receptacle on the camera, as well as a mechanism to be able to rotate and tilt the camera when it is mounted on the tripod. Tripod legs are usually made to telescope, in order to save space when not in use. Tripods are usually made from aluminumcarbon fiber, steel, wood or plastic.

Because it is the underground sound of its upcoming generation, In addition to this grime has become more popular for you young children as this year alone, a handful of artist have collectively contributed to its new sound what is now undoubtedly , the sound of the British youth . The exciting prospect grime presents its growth with a generation of teenagers growing up without it; to them the new electric sound is new, exhilarating and energetic.
There is a new school of grime MC’s striving to help the new scene grow, to help fans gain an insight for the coming adventure of grime. Grime has never died over the recent years of its own existence the genre and the culture has been injected with an array of new energies.
A key figure in this is skepta of course who has been in the game over 10 years who’s from north London skepta has made grime a sort of religion by the way he lives and approaches his life ,the song titled “that not me” highlights that skepta makes himself feel free in his music video .
The fact of him wearing a tracksuit symbolises that his made comfortable for other to follow. He’s wearing a tracksuit so we can as well this makes everyone feel like they’re part of it as well. Without a doubt, grime has taken us to all think that it’s our genre with the amount of talent that is coming through the radio or even on a digital freestyle platform is incredible within the next 10 years it could only get bigger and better!
East London is a diverse community where all of the latest underground rappers come alive for example Newham a borough in east London home to many grime artists, such as Stormzy, ghetts, griminal, kano, bignasty.
The new school of grime made specifically for the genre is right in the centre of East London which means it is very easily accessible to people who live in East London.
Every year young, youth teenagers go to and celebrate the life of grime every summer in East Ham. It is free entry and includes refreshments. This takes place at central park.
As a young child growing up in east London music is a strong figure as many of our favourite artist make us think differently about where we are from by the things they do right ? They do this for a reason because they want you to  love them for who they are. they have done this because they want a strong fan base so they become more popular so they can deliver more music for us.

Adaptation 1 - Adults

Adaptation Adults - 1

As new artists become more firimalrable  in todays society through music and especially through the genre of grime it has captivated the hearts of many young children as you may already know as parents. the lights of people like stormzy have started a authentic trend of sliders which has helped build brand exposures for many brands such as nike, addias and many more. however Im here to talk about how it all started in east London.

There is a new school of grime MC’s striving to help the new scene grow, to help fans gain an insight for the coming adventure of grime. Grime has never died over the recent years of its own existence the genre and the culture has been injected with an array of new energies for the young youth in east London.

east London have made lots of popular rappers over the years my article ‘ Grime IS The New Sound’ will cover how these rapper have become popular in the recent years .10 years ago when grime was building up posty  CEO of GRM daily which is the most dominating channel for grime has produced lots artist and have given your sons and daughters a way of listen to their favourite artists by streaming live on youtube . GRM Daily was created by Posty over 10 years ago Posty has generated a lot of footage and has used it to advertise his success for Grm daily he has made so many series for freestyles which have captivated lots music labels to sign artist who go on his channel. Posty is From Ghana and was raised in  east London canning town  where many artist of grime have come from.

my point is that grime has become poplar through people like posty who have given artist a chance to show their talent through a big platform and has created a strong unit which is diverse for many potenial superstars who believe they've  got what it takes to make it in music in east London all over the UK.

Without a doubt, grime has taken us to all think that it’s our genre with the amount of talent that is coming through the radio or even on a digital freestyle platform is incredible within the next 10 years it could only get bigger and better!

Legal Ethical Moral

Legal Ethical Moral

My article is to inform the audience that grime is a huge strong music genre that young teenagers love in todays society ,in addition to this my article will be about grime artists who have come from the underground and have become worldwide with their music. my magazine will contain a front cover photograph of a popular artist who is based around that genre.

The purpose of my magazine is to communicate with the young youth and celebrate how popular the genre is becoming in todays society of east London. In addition to this as i am writing this article i know a few people may take offence by what they might see, by probably saying its biased and that its vice versa towards a few people. so i have taken serious action on this and will maintain a high level a security of what going to be written on the article and i won’t make it seem stereotypical for others who may be interested in controversial magazine that will include a variety of facts and statics. i will enforce this by including facts and figures  that have been confirmed by reliable sources and won’t make anything up just to back up my points.

My article will reach around a number of people and will have a large audience because i am not only showcasing my article on a e -magazine because i want to have a large target audience, so i have decide to also make it interactive because many people are using portable accessories such as smart phones and tablets which have now grown. To also make apps such as snapchat who have adverts which promote magazines which will help me have a strong fan base and more income for my product . this could only mean it will go viral and will grow interactively with my target audience.

I want to appeal to all types of youths so i wont be racist or segregative towards any gender or race, because i want my magazine to become something everyone can adjust too and to be open about. I will not bad mouth any companies because i don't want to lose any customers who may come across my magazine therefore i will make may magazine purely about our own exposure and it’s structure. an Important thing i must is to make sure that everything i say relates back to my chosen topic because i don't want to sidetrack my audience so to prevent this i will include images of grime artist and east London it self so that my magazine doesn't seem boring but straight forward for the audience.

I will try to my best not to balance out my positive and negative comments between all brands in my article that I  will talk about and not offend any of their copyright laws. i don't intend or to harm anyone to create distress for them whilst reading my article, OFCOM and PCC  have the right to take own anything they feel that is distressing for certain members of the public thats why I'm aware of how to share my news across to the young generation by using social media platforms such as snapchat as another way of showing my news for others.

My article will not contain or promote any dangerous or reckless behaviour and will also not encourage youths to behave in a certain type of way that may harm any members of the public or themselves. i will avoiding any strong language or any adult humour which is inappropriate or offensive because my magazine is for children from 11+  and they don't need to see or read that which reduces the rate of my magazine.

The public will also have options to report what the find depressing in my article E.G ( wrong information, rude information , and disturbing images) they are allowed to to this as they are my audience and i can only improve professionally by what they think . However my article will be reviewed before being released and published for common errors that could possibly occur.
